Total Barre™ is designed to emphasize the correct biomechanics of movement combined with the emotional power of music to increase strength, flexibility, stamina and dynamic stability. You will be getting not only the safest and most impactful barre program available- you will have a blast doing it!Our classes use the dancer’s ballet barre, along with resistance equipment like small weights and elastic bands, set to an invigorating soundtrack to create a completely unique, exhilarating experience. Zen•Ga™ is a brand new exercise method that incorporates many influences, such as Yoga, Pilates, meditation and dance, along with the most recent developments in exercise science, to create a new and exciting way to move. ZEN represents the search for inner discovery, while YOGA symbolizes the way to reach it. Together they form Zen•Ga™, which brings about clarity of the mind while releasing body tension through purposeful movement.Emphasizing fluid, mindful movements, a Zen•Ga class will enhance the mind-body connection and engage every muscle, making you feel relaxed, exhilarated and grounded in your body. We use Pilates-based exercises, as well as small props such as flex bands, foam rollers and soft balls, to learn foundational principles about the way we breathe, align our body’s joints and connect to our environment.
